\nCHARACTERISTICS:<\/strong> A deep purple color with violet highlights, the red in the black evokes the skin of a ripe carignan. Mature notes of brown caramel, refreshed by violets and burlat cherry. We stay with fruit, blackberry and quince jelly and reinette apple. On the palate, the fruit has a tight, velvety texture, with small, fine, taut ribs. Long finish of violets and black licorice. We love it in its pure, fruity youth, which is what sulfite-free wines are all about, and we’ll love it to blossom over time, or simply decanted.
